“QUILT-AS-YOU-GO” STRIP-PIECED OVERLOCK QUILT

This quilt, with its simple, modern design is easy to create using your HUSQVARNA® VIKING® AMBER™ Air S|600 coverlock machines. The fabric and batting strips are joined together using the quilt-as-you-go method. The quilt is then finished by adding a binding using your HUSQVARNA® VIKING® sewing machine. The finished size of this quilt is 60” x 60” (153cm x 153cm).

What you will need

Machine:

• HUSQVARNA® VIKING® AMBER™ Air S|600 coverlock machine

• HUSQVARNA® VIKING® sewing machine

Tools:

• Four spools of overlock thread to match main fabric
• Rotary cutter, Mat, Ruler

Sewing Materials:

• 2½ yards (2.3m) Grape fabric (main fabric)
• 1¾ yards (1.6m) Darker blue fabric (center)
• 1¾ yards (1.6m) Green fabric
• 1 yard (0.9m) Lighter blue fabric
• ½ yard (0.5m) Rose fabric
• yard (0.3m) Coral fabric
• 3½ yards (3.2m) Backing fabric
• 1¾ yards (1.6m) Batting
