Discover the New Hold-Down Shape Feature in mySewnet Embroidery Software 1.7

Introducing a new possibility in all levels of mySewnet Embroidery Subscription with the Hold-Down Shape feature with easy access in the Frame Tab.

Use a Hold-Down stitch to flatten the surface of high-pile fabrics, like terry cloth or fabrics with loops and nap, ensuring that the embroidery design stands out clearly.

The stitch is often a light, grid-like pattern and is typically matched to the fabric color unless a decorative effect is desired.

With an object chosen in the Tab, choose Hold-Down Shape. You have 120 different shapes to choose from.

Choose what type of fabric you want to embroider on; Terrycloth or Fleece.

For the Hold-Down stitch there are two choices, either Utility Pattern 1, that creates a neutral base to stitch on or Decorative 1, that creates a base with a diamond pattern.

The stitches chosen in the feature have been tested to work with many different qualities and weights of fabrics.

Select a Margin width for the shape and click Apply.

Extra functionality:

You can also have an empty hoop and choose a shape; this will fill the whole hoop with the shape.
For more possibilities; Click Edit Fill and choose among all the stitches and fill patterns in the Embroidery Software.
Uncheck Fit to keep the proportions of the shape you have chosen.
Uncheck Group if you want to organize the objects differently.
